The webpage importer attempts to find the main article in publicly accessible HTML, rather than reading navigation, sidebars or unrelated site links.

Import a public article URL

1. Open Studio and locate the article URL field.
2. Paste a public HTTPS article URL and select Extract article.
3. Alternatively, paste a single URL into an empty editor to trigger the import.
4. Review the imported text. Remove anything you do not want spoken.
5. Select voice and audio format, then generate speech.

Why some webpages do not work

Login-only pages, sites that block automated requests, pages rendered only after JavaScript runs and complex tabbed layouts can be difficult to extract. A URL fragment such as #section works only when it matches a recognizable section in the downloaded HTML.

Still getting a "No readable main article" error?

Copy the article text yourself, save an accessible document, or try another public page. This is a limitation of the article extractor, not of your chosen voice.
